Is this powered by Royal Mail PAF?

Yes. AutoPostcode is built around the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF) for accurate, official UK addresses — over 30 million delivery points kept up to date.

Does this work with WooCommerce?

Absolutely. Our WordPress/WooCommerce plugin adds postcode lookup and address autocomplete to your checkout in minutes, with no coding required.

Does it work with plain WordPress (no WooCommerce)?

Yes. The plugin works on any WordPress site and you can also call our REST API directly from custom forms.

Can agencies manage multiple clients?

Yes. The Agency dashboard lets you create clients, add a website per client and issue scoped API keys, all billed under one account.

Can each website have a separate API key?

Every website gets its own revocable API key so usage, access and reporting stay isolated per store.

Can I view search history?

Yes. Every lookup is logged with the website, postcode searched, selected address and timestamp for billing and audits.

Is there an API?

Yes — a simple REST endpoint. Authenticate with your website API key and receive clean, structured UK addresses back as JSON.

How accurate are the addresses?

Addresses come straight from Royal Mail PAF, so they reflect deliverable UK addresses with typical accuracy of 99%+.

What happens when I hit my lookup limit?

Lookups reset each billing cycle. If you need more headroom you can upgrade your plan at any time, or contact us for a custom volume.

Is my customer data handled securely?

Lookups are processed securely and we only store the search metadata needed for your logs and billing. Contact us for our data processing details for GDPR compliance.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Start with a 14-day free trial including 500 lookups and full API access — no card required.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no setup fees and you can cancel whenever you like.
